WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca

There's one thing about WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca - no matter what the name is, and no matter what the temperature the sun always seems to be harsh. But that doesn't dampen the enthusiasm. Here's my pics for this year -

My friend Stan Ferrell worked for Comptech back when they raced this car.

I saw Juan Fangio II and P.J. Jones race these cars at this very track. 

One of the Holdens from Australia. 

They claim this is an unrestored TransAm race car. 

Sometimes you can have the most fun racing a car with a small engine.

Believe it or not this is a Ford Cleveland engine. 

I'd take a car like this any day.

Another TransAm race car. This LeMans has a 303 cid Pontiac engine.

I don't know if this is a tribute or not. It says Mickey Thompson and in smaller letters Butch Leal.
