The Classic Car Journal reports that Mecum sold a total of $28.4 million. I would say this is a preliminary figure. Mecum has their "The Bid Goes On" (This is why some cars are shown as "Not sold yet.") so the total should be higher.
Mecum continues to impress. Every year their selection gets better and better. Here's some that caught my eye.

Talked to a Mecum representative about the Bullitt Mustang. The one shown was a camera car, in fact both Mustangs were camera cars. The other Mustang, or rather all that was left of it, was found in Mexico. I'm not sure how it was verified as allegedly all that was found was the roof. But it was verified.
