Looking to buy or sell an enthusiast car?
If you are there is a new site just for you. Go to www.motorcarenthusiast.com for a stress free way to buy or sell.
If you're like me, maybe you're getting a bit fed up with eBay or Craigslist. Motorcar Enthusiast is a site that caters to the buyers and sellers of cars enthusiasts might be interested in. It is not an online auction site; the prices are right there for you to see. There are no popups either.
This is a new site but even so they have a fairly nice selection of cars - muscle cars, hot rods, vintage, or exotic.
It seems pretty easy to use, just plug in as little or as much info as you want for your search and it searches through the current postings to give you what you're looking for.
I plugged in "Ford" and then narrowed the search to within 250 miles of my ZIP. Ten cars were shown starting with a 1926 Model T "Phone Booth" and going up to 1970 Mustang.
Now I'm not really in the market to buy anything, and I sure as heck don't have anything worthy of selling on Motorcar Enthusiast, so I can't give you an first-hand impression of how it works. I do know people who dabble in collector cars and if any of them use the site, and I can get some feed back from them, I'll let you know.
