The Concours calendar is getting crowded. And that's a good thing. Positioned as the first on the calendar of Bay Area Concours events the inaugural Coyote Creek Concours d'Elegance will feature Ferrari as the European marque and Corvette as the American marque.
Co-founders Kathy and Steve Pedone were heavily involved in support teams for several Bay Area Concours events in the past. Deciding to launch their own Conours they started the Alameda Concours d'Elegance. After two successful years they are pleased to announce the first Coyote Creek Concours d'Elegance.
The Coyote Creek Concours d'Elegance will be held at the Coyote Creek Golf Course, a 4-Star golf course just south of San Jose in Morgan Hill. Coyote Creek Golf Course is easily accessible from Highway 101. There will be ample parking for spectators (and transporters should you wish to enter a vehicle).
The Pedone's hope to connect with a younger demographic this year to preserve the admiration for collector cars among future generations. To further this desire categories have been added that should appeal to these younger enthusiasts including a Japanese car class and a Gen Xcellent class for cars of the '80s and '90s. They haven't forgotten the two-wheel aficionados; there will be a motorcycle display as well.
The Coyote Creek Concours d'Elegance supports an incredible charity - Operation Freedom Paws. Operation Freedom Paws pairs American soldiers with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) with four-legged fur friends. These emotional support companions aid in the rehabilitation process.
The event has already attracted several cars that have won prestigious awards at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and the founders are hoping the San Francisco Bay Area and all of Northern California will come out for a wonderful day of collector cars to support a great cause and what will become a must-do annual event on the collector car calendar.
